State Bank of India will be soon recruiting for nearly 30,000 Clerical & 5000 Officer positions to fill the vacancies created by employee retirements & addition of branches.This was recently announced by Mr.Anup Banerji, Deputy Managing Director- SBI.

DENA Bank 2010 - Specialist Officers Drive Starts

Dena Bank was founded in 1938 & was nationalised in the year 1969 along with 13 other banks.With headquarters in Mumbai, the bank has branches in all major cities of India. Dena Bank, today released the recruitment notice for Officer positions.

IOB Starts Manager Posts

Indian Overseas Bank(IOB) is one of the oldest banks in the country.The bank has around 1200 branches & operates 600 ATM across India. IOB has announced the Recruitment of Managers (IT) for its Information Technology dept. located at Chennai.




Position – Vacancies – Payscale :

SBI 4500 PO - Recruitment Drive Starts

State Bank of India back with yet another huge recruitment of 4500 Probationary Officers.As part of the aggressive expansion plans, SBI is to open around 1000 new branches in the next 2 years.Inorder to fill these vacancies ,State Bank of India has come up with this job notification.



Post - Vacancies - Payscale:



1) Probationary Officers - 2500 posts - Rs.10,000 - Rs.18,240



2) Probationary Officers (Rural Business) - 2000 posts - Rs.10,000 - Rs.18,240

* Age limit : 21 - 30 yrs as on 28.02.2010 (relaxation applies)



* Should have scored minimum 55% in Graduation AND 60% in 12th Std (Or in Diploma after 10th)



* CA/ CWA/ CFA/ CS candidates must have passed in these exams & should have 60% in 12th std

Note: Candidates who have appeared previously for SBI PO exam on 4 occasions (General) OR 7 occasions(OBC) are not eligible to apply. There is no limit for SC/ST candidates.





Selection :SBI will have a common written test for both positions & would have Objective & Descriptive test as a combined paper for 3 Hrs. Objective section will be for 200 marks (2 Hrs) & has the following sections ,

i) Test of English Language

ii) Test of General Awareness, Marketing & Computers

iii) Test of Data Analysis & Interpretation

iv) Test of Reasoning



* The pass mark will be decided by bank,but candidates should score minimum 40% marks in both test for merit list entry.
